Records / Identification


The primary function of the Records/Identification division, led by Lieutenant Dayna Sampognaro, is to process and manage information maintained by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office. This department receives offense reports, accident reports, and warrants, as well as, inmates booking files, ensuring that all records are properly stored, physically and electronically. The office responds to request for public records and background checks and offers fingerprinting to the public, and also processes evidence which is obtained from Deputies.

Crash reports can take to 7 to 10 business days to be approved and ready for the public.

  • For digital fingerprinting, you must schedule an appointment through ldentoGo at www.identogo.com 

o This requires payment to be made by the online service or with a debit/credit card or money order (No cash accepted) 

  • For inked fingerprints (this service does not require an appointment): 
    $20 for one set (2 cards) and $10 extra for each additional card-
