Church Security Class
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office will conduct a Church Security Class on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the North Delta Training Academy at 268 Sheriff Richard Fewell Road in West Monroe. The class will begin at 6 pm and end at 10 PM. This course is designed for places of worship considering implementing a security team and to share new ideas for current security teams. The instructors will cover different topics involving security teams and address questions. To attend the class, you must complete a citizen application and return it by email to ndta@opso.net by March 3, 2025. Applications are located at www.opso.net. This course is for places of worship in Ouachita Parish only.
Ladies Self Defense Class
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Training Division will be offering a Ladies Self-Defense class, Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 6PM-9PM, at the North Delta Training Academy. The class is limited to 25 participants.
Ladies will be given instruction on several topics in regards to personal defense in public places and at your home.
Anyone interested in attending, please complete the application online at www.opso.net, or you may download it and return it to NDTA@opso.net by December 10, 2024.
Participants will need to wear appropriate comfortable clothing for the class. No weapons, pepper sprays, or knives will be allowed in the building.

Youth Fishing Tournament

Concealed Carry Course
A two evening Concealed Carry Weapons Course is scheduled for August 20th and 22nd from 5-8pm at the North Delta Training Academy.
