The 2026 Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Youth Fishing Tournament is coming up Saturday, September 12th … and it’s completely FREE for kids ages 2–12! 🐟☀️
Kids can start fishing at 6:00 a.m. on any waterway in Ouachita Parish and then bring their biggest fish to the OPSO Rifle Range for weigh-in between 10:00–11:00 a.m.

And there’s plenty of fun waiting at the Rifle Range, including archery, fingerprinting, face painting, kids’ activities, hot dogs, snow cones, door prizes and more!

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Rifle Range will be CLOSED Saturday, August 15th as we host the MedCamps of Louisiana Skeet Shoot. 🎯
We’re proud to support MedCamps and the incredible work they do for children and families across Louisiana.
The range will reopen Sunday, August 16th for normal operations.
Thank you for your understanding, and best of luck to everyone participating in the Skeet Shoot! 👏
