Mounted Patrol

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office  Mounted Patrol is made up of both full-time and

Reserve deputies who have their own horse.

The Mounted Patrol works large events such as parades, festivals, and aid in search and rescues.

The team also patrols the mall parking lots during the holiday seasons.
